The Bourrine of Bois Juquaud
In Saint Hilaire de Riez, less than 10 minutes from the campsite.
It is in fact a museum made up of a group of typical marsh buildings from the Bourrine era.
This allows us to understand the way of life of our ancestors in the Vendée Breton Marsh.

Salt Marshes of Saint Hilaire de Riez
In Saint Hilaire de Riez, 15 minutes from the campsite.
Since 1995, the Marais Salants de la Vie have resumed their activity. When the good weather arrives, with plenty of sun, heat, wind and therefore evaporation, you can see the salt workers or salt marsh workers busy harvesting and making salt.
